Greetings: I’m Michael Welch the author of MrMikesMusicMats. “Young Mozart Music Station” is a collection (24 mats) of my favorite and most useful creative teaching tools. I’ve arranged this “Young Mozart Music Station” in a sequence that is age relevant, beginning with the Bongo and Conga mats. As a classroom educator I use this for ages 2 up. These two very important “Hands On” mats teach early learners Left & Right.
I’ve included the C Major Diatonic mat, Chromatic Xylophone and Piano
Mat. Diatonic and Chromatic Note Tile Sheets are also included. You simply cut them out from the book for students to use. They will find the correct Notes and place the Note Tiles on the mat.
Traceable mats are included in this book. Including, the Violin and Traceable Notation. The Violin mat teaches students 5 important parts of the Violin. The bow, tuning keys, f-holes, bridge and chin rest. The Traceable Notation mat teaches these signs: Treble Clef, Whole Note, Whole Rest, Half Note Half Rest, Quarter Note, Quarter Rest, Eight Note and Eight Rest.
Black & White and Color Notation Bingo mats are included. I recommend you use the Black & White mats as the “Player” card, cut out the color Bingo Notation Tiles. Students will use them like bingo chips, find the correct notation sign and place the note tile on it. This game teaches 24 important notation signs.
Several “Treble Clef-Lines & Spaces” mats are included.
Several of these mats use my Color Coded system.
The “Quarter Note Beat Ensemble” will teach students quarter note rhythms. The blank “Make A Beat” mat is used for students to create rhythms and beats. Bingo chips can be used.
Extras include “Music & Math” and “Grand Staff”
Game mats include “Boomwhacker Bowling” and Boomwhacker Putt Putt”
