Piano Mat-Note to teachers: the young learners love to touch the keyboard and follow along as you teach them the notes of the piano. The piano mat is one of the most useful mats in my series. I recommend the classroom teacher has one for each student. When you pass out the mat mat at the beginning of the class the students will touch it,play it and recite the notes. The animated Apple Keynote presentations drop onto the keyboard for you to narrate and teach the chromatic scale. The piano mat can also be used as a table or floor exercise utilizing the note tiles. Students practice learning notes by placing the correct note tile on the correct piano note.
